As a result of the federal government’s ongoing crackdown on medical marijuana dispensaries in the City of Santa Barbara, cannabis supporters have organized a march for noon on 8/27. Organizer Mark Russell, who founded the clothing brand I Am Not a Criminal, invites supporters of medical marijuana and state rights to travel from the dolphin statue at the bottom of State Street up to the County Courthouse’s Sunken Gardens.

{August 21, 2008}   Green Monday

OCTOBER 6!

Medical cannabis patients and marijuana users are asked NOT to go to work, school, or any normal daily activities such as doctor’s appointments, therapy sessions, grocery shopping, gas pumping, etc.

We will show this nation that we do not work without our medicine and nation does NOT work without us. Cannabis is a Medicine.

Again, that is Monday, October 6, 2008.

Charles Lynch, a former Morro Bay medical cannabis dispensary owner was convicted of 5 counts of CANNABIS-ONLY charges and faces 25-100 years in Federal prison even though he was an honest business man and followed city, county, and State laws. His sentencing is Monday Oct 6 at 8pm at the Federal Courthouse located at 312 N Spring St Los Angeles, CA Courtroom 10.

If you can NOT make it to LA that day, makes it to a protest near you and LET OUR VOICE BE HEARD. “Free Charles Lynch”

Stay tuned for more.
